Grand Ganpat is stop on at the right place in Palani , for everyone who wants to visit the main temple. The accomodation is spacious, very maintained and clean. Good number of car parking slots are available, even couple of buses can be parked inside. The reception staff are courteous and prompt to attend your requests. Only thing the food at the AC restaurant is little over priced, however the quality is good. Overall the hotel is very good option for your stay.

I arrived at ganpath Hotel with my family at around 11:00 am. But the management said that we can check in only at 12 pm. So I was waiting in reception with family... I condemn the management for not allowing me to come with my family and children.

Poor food/ amenities

The hotel's only redeeming quality is the passable cleanliness. Yet the bathrooms needed deodorant. The food was terrible. Served cold and the staff were surprised when we wanted them to heat it a bit. The hotel is in a pilgrim town. When devotees return hungry after the last dharshan, the hotel had closed their food service. They acted like they were doing us a favour by giving us cold idlies , rice and curd. Very bad. For the early morning dharshan there was no hot water , while I had payed for premium rooms. They had an attractive description for this category but it was like staying in a local joint. The breakfast was also disappointing. Not at all tasty.
