The location of Nebo Hotel is excellent. It is located right on the South Cliff at Varkala. You get a stunning view of the Arabian Sea from the room. This property doesn't have any restaurant, it has a small kitchen which generally operates from 08:30 am to 4:30 pm. But you can order food from outside. The USP is the location

Terrible Stay

I had travelled alone with the baby, first I requested for a early check in which was denied and said guest may not check out on time so couldn’t guarantee. I understood the situation and left it. But when it came to a point where I had to check out I was asked to leave at sharp 12, though I told them my bus was at 3 and just asked for one hour late check out I was treated badly and I had to leave immediately. First day the room was not that clean, as I was already too tired I left it, o second I went and asked them to clean the room only then it looked like somebody had cleaned it. I would definitely not recommend this place especially if you are travelling with kids. There are plenty of other rooms much less amount with greater experience.

Dear AnuShree We would like to state clearly that your review does not reflect the facts of your stay. You arrived at 11:00 am, though our check-in is at 2:00 pm. As the hotel was fully occupied the previous night, your room category was not available until 1:30 pm, when we still provided you an early check-in. Our rooms are cleaned and inspected to high standards. No complaint was raised during your three-night stay, so claims of poor cleanliness are unfounded. On departure, our check-out is at 12:00 pm. This is essential for preparing rooms for incoming guests — just as you were accommodated early at check-in, another guest was waiting for your room. Despite this, we offered you until 12:30 pm and the option to wait in our lounge, which you refused. We always do our best to support our guests, but respecting check-in and check-out timings is necessary to ensure fairness and comfort for everyone. Sincerely, Manager Nebo Hotel

Our stay at Nebo Hotel was truly memorable. The room ambiance and amenities were excellent, and the timing of our visit couldn’t have been more perfect. We stayed in a sea-facing room on the first floor, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. I found myself lost in the moment, gazing at the sea for what felt like hours. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the comfort of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel and left with lots of beautiful memories. Highly recommended!

The stay was good. Actually it was a heavy rain season. So we faced an issue like the rain water coming inside the room and made the half of the room wet all the time but they provided good service in cleaning the room.. heavy wind scared us as the hotel is located at the top of the cliff. the view from the hotel and the service are excellent. Overall it was a good stay with family for a couple of days
