About Lima (LIM)
Overlooking the Pacific Ocean and laying on the desert coast, Lima is the capital and the largest city of Peru. This beautiful city is nestled in thew valleys of Chillon, Rimac and Lurin Rivers. The history of this place traces back to pre-Columbian era. Mounted at an elevation of 1,600ft above the mean sea level, the land comprises clusters of isolated hills. Despite its location in the tropics and desert, Lima has a climate that is pleasantly mild. Lima abounds with structures that were built during 16th, 17th and further centuries.
