The property is overrated and not worth the price. We arrived in the evening g and the place looked eerie. The staff was helpful. There was a long and strenuous walk to the room. The room was spacious. The funny part was they made us sign a list of available items in the room! The food was average and the Indian food was just no good. I guess regular brands of hotels make better sense.

The location of the property is excellent overlooking the ayung river & valley covered with dense tropical vegetation. The design & layout of the property is superbly aligned with the unique topography. This is a villa resort & the spacious villas are designed in balinese style. Each villa has a porch overlooking the valley / river & a pool. Breakfast lounge has gorgeous views of the valley & waterfall. The restaurant offers multi-cusine menu. The spa facilities are also wonderfully laid out & spa is highly recommended. The staff is very courteous but unobtrusive. Housekeeping is spic & span. Overall one of the best places in ubud area of bali to spend some quality time. Caution : because it is a valley resort, lot of climbing down & up is involved, inspite of the 2 elevators. Those with knee / leg problem are advised to check whether this would be suitable to their condition.

When we landed in bali our saty was 1 1/2 hrs away from airport and let me say this that every sec of wait to reach the hotel was worth while. When you enter the property it makes you feel that you have travel-led back in time to an era of royalness, start from the architecture of the place to the way you are always created with a smile and positiveness, every thing is just wow. When i checked in i have a special request to give room with best view as had to stay inside hotel for 24 hrs because of bali new year. And we were given the room with best view we had a water fall to watch with private pool. But this place has many stairs so always be ready for that. And after sun down always turn down the lights to lowest as other wise the lights would attract insects.

This resort has been the best experience of my life, everything about this resort is a top notch, the villa, restaurants, vibe, activities, lagoon & infinity pools, staff, ambience absolutely everything. The best place in ubud for any type of occasion

Great stay but with few insects

Its a great and lavish property with amazing service. It is literally located around mountain and jungle, due to the location we do see small insects/creatures in and around the property. So those who are super scared of insects and lizards should not book. We did see a small squirrel inside our room but the guest service was quick to arrive in the room and do the needful
