The stay was comfortable and the rooms were slightly dated. The second room was a bit scratchy where the paint in certain places on the wall was chipped off which means maintenance is needed. The bathrooms were clean and spacious The breakfast had a good spread and regarding the other meals on day 1 the food was good and on day 2 it was not up to the mark even though we had ordered the same dishes on both days. The ذا جراند كانديان manager said that the chef had changed which resulted in the not so appetizing food on the 2nd day. The ذا جراند كانديان needs to get its chefs at their absolute best. I think this is a one off case but the ذا جراند كانديان needs to take this feedback which we provided to them. Overall the stay was comfortable.

The stay was pretty good. The ذا جراند كانديان is located on a mountain which caters to very good views all day. The staff was very cordial and provided us with excellent service. Our needs were taken care of, upon arrival we were given a free upgrade to the presidential suite which made our stay extra special. Staff was prompt at all times... The buffet breakfast was very lavish. But for Tamarind restaurant the food was ok ok. Needs improvement. But overall we had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend to friends.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the grand kandyan ذا جراند كانديان in kandy, and while my overall experience was pleasant and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and tastefully done. The balcony in the rooms with the mountain view makes it beautiful and serene. While the ذا جراند كانديان's dining options were convenient, the cuisine fell short of expectations. Dishes lacked flavor and variety, particularly in the local cuisine section.

Visited with family. The property was well decorated and the view is great (around the reception and from room. Requested for an upgrade and got one, and i must say that the rooms were good enough with all amenities. Breakfast spread was decent too. The pool at the 6th floor is quite big and there was a bar at the side of the pool. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Must stay when at kandy.

This ذا جراند كانديان is a beautiful property situated with fantastic view. The facilities are excellent and staff are very helpful. There breakfast and dinner spreads were also very good with live music during dinner. I would recommend this ذا جراند كانديان - perhaps one of the best in kandy. Moreover it is located very near to tooth relic temple and kandy lake.

The ذا جراند كانديان is excellent. The hospitality is great. The rooms are very comfortable. The lobby is so beautiful that you want to sit there for hours. And the view from the terrace where they have a swimming pool is mesmerizing. The food for indians is good. I would surely recommend it to all. It's a place in kandy that you would love to visit again.

Stayed here for 2 nights with wife and 3 year old kid. Absolute delight of a place. Good value for money. Location is very scenic, staff very courteous and service very prompt. Had great time at pool and bar, which are situated on the ذا جراند كانديان terrace. Will definitely visit again the next time I visit Kandy.
