I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, and cleanliness of the shared areas - bathroom, kitchen and lounge was in a reasonable state. All over, it was great value for money I'm really pleased I stayed here.

There was a warm greeting, warm shower, clean sheets. This was overshadowed by filthy conditions, misguided management when dealing with overbooking beds drunkenness and ignored my request for a quieter room, but in the same breathe upgraded for free two other people for free but asked me to pay for the upgrade. I'll avoid this hostel in my future travels. It has left a bad feeling of being unable to handle all clients needs for safety and a decent night's sleep or requests for an upgrade to avoid police being called out to remove drunken load/ rude poeple

Don't stay here unless it's your last option. Expensive, dirty, weird smells all around, mainly humidity and piss. No lockers in rooms and just one socket.

It was ok! Room was very simple...as in a bed and a fridge and a pedestal fan and nothing else...but it did the job. Couple of cockies getting about, but that didn't bother me. Might bother some other customers though...

Unfortunately we didn't stay here because the location was impossible to get a parking spot to unload our bags. The surrounding areas felt unsafe and as a result we booked accommodation elsewhere

this hostel is the best in sydney but there are two areas where it can improve, first one is the rudeness of one backpacker who emptied the garbage bin in my room, rude woman and they need to do something about the kitchen, it is small and cannot handle too many people, I would suggest staggering breakfast, certain rooms at a certain time.

No air conditioning. Broken fan. Water pipes very loud. No water pressure. So hot that we had to sleep with the window open on to the street where people party all night. Cleaners left our room unlocked multiple times.

The room was really bad, the bed was making too much noise, don't have anything in the room. The breakfast, terrible! Just bread, cereal and butter, ridiculous they announced that have a breakfast included. The crew, very rude, and when the girls were cleaning the kitchen, they start to talk about the people on the hostel, with aggressive adjectives, in Portuguese, thinking that just they speak portuguese. but I'm Brazilian and I understand everything, I stay very angry with this. The bathroom is terrible, the shower is a door with no place to put towels and clothes. Very bad place to stay.
