Review Of Colva Residency

OK, it's an old property, OK it's not well maintained with wall plaster peeling out, OK the lawns are not too manicured, OK, the sea front rooms are shut for good having a leaking roof, OK, the employees are slightly gruff for first timers, OK, the entrance gives you a feel of entering a dungeon. But still I rate it is as good. Why? Not that my tastes have plummeted but because inspite of these shortcomings it is a sea fronted property with Colva beach just across the road and most essentially the available rooms are actually well maintained with manageable clean interiors & functional AC, all the while being within chirping distance of sea surf. The adjoining tourist market is a bargained delight & the hotels restaurant is surprisingly well managed with a thick menu card, affordable beer and rich succulent ( slightly oily) fare. Need I say more that there were only a handful of guest and the hotel had all the vibes you expect from Goa, including the constancy of a light music & ever smiling visages of the staff ( most if not all). Definitely would stay again.

Room has few frogs & domestic erthan worms big size, no hygine. Don't think it's a hotel, employees are: why you came to this place.

Location is good but room service needs to improve

The condition of the room was very bad. Hospitality was at the worst. All these because run by government. Only advantage is it is located on the beach

It was a horrible stay. Mosquitoes bite my face and body. No basic amenities were there. The water bottle was already opened. No tv connection. No wifi. I never experienced this kind of service.

Colva residency location is nearer to beach and nice place. Rooms was clean and the building needs to be renovated.

Good location at the beach. Restaurant has good food, service is very nice. Nice authentic goan food. Rooms are nice clean. Staff is very nice and polite. Only from outside building is not maintained.

Stay was good. Had a nice vaccation there. Enjoyed colva beach view and location was convenient. Staff is also good and co operative. Only bit challenge was power cut but tht was not frequent. Rest we enjoyed

we had a pleasant stay at colva residency, goa. the entire staff at the hotel reception are very cooperative, well - behaved, friendly and helpful. they responded positively to all our queries and also guided us well. the room size is also fine. the location of colva residency is one of its biggest plus points because of its close proximity to the colva beach, which has access to various water sports activities as well. if the concerned authority of the hotel can really do something about the type of mattress which is currently placed on the beds inside the rooms and also, if he/she can do something to change all the old taps inside the bathroom while renovating it with all the required essentials, then our stay next time can be even more memorable. our overall experience there was really good 🙂 thank you team makemytrip and colva residency, goa for making our stay in south goa memorable 🙏

Out side and surroundings of colva residency is not well maintained, but rooms are clean and good service.

property location is very good close to beach. rooms are clean with hot वॉटर supply. but some security issue is there as hotels have no watchman or security guard in night time also. but overall stay was good. also no breakfast at hotels. have to go outside.

Room service is not okay room equipment not in service hotel staff is arogant.

Need renovation from outside and also need to improve room service. Location is perfect. Rates are very reasonable

We found leeches on property as well as in room, do not stay there. I booked for 10 days, after 3-4 days i found this, immediately i left property,

Property is not well maintained. Lizards and mosquitoes are there in the room. Food in the restaurant is below average.

Telephone not working to speak with reception, not even water provided in room, very poor maintenance, no room service. It is completely not worth the money we paid. Worst experience via makemy trip

The property location was excellent,, right in colva beach. The room was in beach front. The building has some deficiency as it was century old. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a good experience to stay in colva residency.

Value for money. An antique property with absolutely no hassle. Enjoyed the solo stay. Facing the beach. Great music, good food and sea view was remarkable

Location is superb, wish the building was refurbished as per today's taste. Food at restaurant is too good. Missing was early morning breakfast.
