Sonar bangla hotel My room is end of the boundry wall adjacent is policy was not satisfactory every time u provide odside room n Today I not stay sunrise hotel cause of back side room not river view room u intentionally very poor room.

Overall good. The rate of board riding is too high. The toilet space is very small. The room tariff is high compared to the room accommodation.

The ambiance was simply excellent The service providers were very courteous and prompt Food was hygienic and good The location was awesome and scenic Good arrangement was made for our drivers stay and fooding through outsourced party

Very poor service and delayed food and water delivery at room. Reception staffs are very unprofessional, even welcome drinks not served to anyone in our group, its not about the drinks, its about the hospitality management should taken care of. Sonar Bangla staffs and management way much more better than this. Though some housekeeping and security personnels are really very good. Problem in management level. Please improve your hospitality. Thank you.

Stayed for one night, 15th Aug. Booked 2 Super-Deluxe rooms Room Service was excellent, despite the long weekend rush. They catered to all our requests, including changing the fridge in one of the rooms. The only disappointment, in this area, was the unavailability of ice Location is wonderful. The proximity to a large river like the Ichhamati has a lot to do with it The property layout is nice, with most rooms having a clear or angular river view, especially from the higher floors. Overall it is well maintained The swimming pool is relatively small for a property of this size. When crowded swimming becomes a constraint Great that there is a coffee shop on campus. Net net a great getaway for a couple of days, close to Kolkata

Excellent resort on the Ichamoti river. We had a premium room with great views. Food is ordinary. They have a beautiful cafe which is worth visiting.

Nice Stay- Staff was Very Courteous- Location was Mind Blowing. Food might seem expensive but the portion they serve actually justifies their pricing.

Highly overpriced property 5 star price with minimal in room facilities. The bathroom was dirty. There was no minibar only empty cooler.

My recent stay at Hotel Sonar Bangla in Taki was nothing short of delightful. Nestled on the banks of the Ichamati River, the property offers a serene escape from city life. The natural beauty surrounding the hotel—lush greenery, riverside views, and peaceful ambiance—makes it a perfect weekend getaway. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a beautiful view of the river. The staff was courteous, always smiling, and ready to help, which added warmth to the experience. The in-house restaurant served delicious Bengali cuisine, especially the fish preparations which were a highlight of our trip. One of the best parts was sitting by the riverside in the evening, watching boats go by and enjoying the calm breeze. They also arranged a boat ride which allowed us to explore the river and even catch a glimpse of Bangladesh across the border—an unforgettable experience. Overall, it was a peaceful, refreshing stay with a perfect mix of comfort, nature, and good hospitality. I would definitely recommend Sonar Bangla Taki to anyone looking for a quiet retreat close to Kolkata.
