This resort is in outskirt of Mahableshwar and it is too difficult to reach since there is no direction board for commuters. Also, me and my wife experienced negative vibes inside the room provided by resort due to which we chose not to stay there after spending 2 hours. Its 12km from Mahableshwar City.

I had a terrible and disappointing experience at this resort, and I would absolutely not recommend it to anyone. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the property was poorly maintained. The rooms were unclean, smelled musty, and the bedding didn’t look fresh at all. Basic amenities like TV was not operating, glasses was smelling, and towels and blanket was uncleaned. The service was even worse staff were unprofessional, unresponsive, and seemed completely disinterested in helping guests. We had to call multiple times for basic requests. Food was another disaster limited options, stale taste, and poor hygiene in the dining area. Definitely not something you’d expect from a place that calls itself a “resort.” Overall, this was a pathetic stay and a complete waste of money. I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so bad, I felt others should be warned. Definitely avoid this place there are far better options out there.

I stayed at this hotel this weekend (June14-15,2025) and wanted to share my experience. I don’t write reviews but it was so bad that I don’t want others don’t fall into this trap. It has a high rating in Google but I believe it is all paid reviews. I booked two rooms through MMTC for 13.7k and I expected a decent stay. First of all, this is a very remote location with no mobile access. There is no elevator. Don’t go by the picture, the hotel is shabby and is managed by a group of untrained staff. I have nothing against the employees they are really good and helpful. The owner is a lady and is a lousy woman. The rooms are really dirty, see the pictures attached. Cockroaches everywhere. It is a forest area so I can accept insects outside but cockroaches in the room are not acceptable at all. There are pets in the hotel and they excrete everywhere. They did it today in front of our room. The TV is broken, and the tea cups in the room are plastic made and smell like crap. I wish I had something good to write but there is none. We just slept at night and left early morning. Families please avoid this hotel, you can get a much better bargain at a lower price.

Location is good for those looking to connect with nature. Distant from the town center, very quiet & surrounded by a jungle. It is also dog friendly. Most guests choose it because it allows dogs. Staff is helpful and responsive within their limitations. However, the place needs better maintenance and has a very shabby look to it. The pictures posted are very old and do not reflect current reality. Building maintenance is pathetic. We booked the deluxe cottage and the refrigerator and phone didn’t work initially. Bathroom was bare basic with just 2 small soaps provided. Had to call to get towels which were dirty and brown. At this price, you expect atleast some shower gels and clean towels as standard without having to phone for them. Water seeps in through the main door during rains and the picket fencing is broken in parts. The food was ok. Some items quite good, mostly ok. Breakfast was also ok. Not bad Please check your bills carefully. They tried to overcharge us for a few items & only because I kept a track of it

I believe MMT's perfection. Their procedural systems are well integrated. This time I booked FOREST COUNTY hotel at Mahabaleshwar. Hotel property is maintained & not bad but not good also. Rooms were not to my expections, yes not at all for the cost I paid. I was mentally prepared for 50% amount to get back & cancel the bookings. However the reception counter staff was very cooperative & polite. They took all the possible efforts to convince me, shown several other rooms etc etc... Mr Imran an on duty service incharge of the wing in which 2 rooms were alloted to us took every possible effort to make the rooms presentable. We finally stayed in the same hotel. Room amenities were not there as mentioned in on line booking. Hotel is bit away, which was in fact a plus point for me. Better if you have your own car. Restaurant has limited items & Seating arrangements are that comfortable too. Though it was not worth, we managed our stay with many negetives & only one positive that the cooperative staff.
