    Some of the hotel workers were pleasant, with the exception of one guy who got cranky when hot water was not available in his room at night. The rest is all fine. Cleanliness could have been improved.

    Our stay was very comfortable, early check-in was really helpful, rooms were clean and well maintained, loved the temperature of hot water facility, helpful staffs and good restaurant with decent food and amenities.

    Hotel located in nice place and very close to market in walkable distance. Room service is excellent. Food also good not bad. 24hrs hot and cold water. Mmanager and supervisor very kind and staffs also giving respect for guest. Rooms are very clean and good conditions. Organizing for sight visiting arrange the cabs. I enjoyed very well in this hotels. I recommended this hotel. Ii thanks to makemytrip and ponnmari residency.

    We stayed for 3 days in this hotel. Hotel is new, at walkable distance from Botanical Garden and market. Food was nice. Room conditions are good. Travel helpdesk provided cab for cheap rate. Worth paying for money.

    I am satisfied with the service of the hotel. Rooms are decent and enough in size. Very close to the centre of the town and botanical gardens. Ideal for families with kids in case of any emergency. Food is OK and affordable. Staff service is good and courteous.

    Check in was quick and the location is very near to the most preferred Botanical Garden. Bazaar is close by. Food (both vegetarian and non vegetarian) is superb. A bar in the hotel would have added more spice to our stay. Service is very good. Will be happy to stay again.

    The hotel is not located at Charring Cross and is a good 15 minute walk away through heavy traffic and pollution. Beats the whole purpose of being on a hill station. The room was small, dull blue in color ( govt hospital look) and did not look new at all. The towels had old stain marks on them and the taps dripped. The restaurant food was a plus point. and had a small shop as well. Service staff was generally nice though service not always prompt. Overall, it was just an average experience, nowhere close to what other reviewers had led me to believe.

    The Royal Deluxe Room is not that royal. Room size is very small and we declined the extra bed because there was no space enough to accommodate even a folding cot. Laundry services not delivered on time. The room should be ready with all the disposables before check-in but we had to tell them that there was no tissue paper, door mat, etc. However the restaurant and the food served were of good quality. The staff still require some professional training on all services. The travel desk seems to be a little costly affair. They tell us that one day trip is from 9 am to 6 pm but check-in is at 12 pm and we lost one place on the itinerary. Overall I can say the stay is not fully satisfactory.

    Lounge - very small. There is hardly any space. Check-in was not so easy. I had to wait for 45 minutes because the room was to be cleaned. When I entered the room after 45 minutes, I see that only half the room was cleaned. I had to call reception and get the room cleaned once again. Rooms - Rooms are ok. Not big, but not small either. I suggest you to get rooms either on first floor or second floor. But definitely not on ground floor or basement (yes, there are rooms in the basement). Ask for room with a view of Doddabetta and not the view of the football ground. Room service - was prompt enough in my experience. However, I did see couple of guys complaining about delay in serving tea to the rooms early in the morning (6.45am). Staff - Were cordial. Prompt in their service. Restaurant - Tried only breakfast. Good quality, but not enough quantity for the price charged. Checkout - I had my bus starting at 2.30pm. I requested for a late checkout and they agreed for it. Didn't charge anything extra. Parking space - There is hardly any parking space out there. If there are too many vehicles, you may end up parking your vehicle on the road ! Travel desk - They arranged a cab for me to travel to Coonoor and Paikara falls. The desk advises you very well about the places you can visit. Overall - Value for money hotel.

    The overall experience was very satisfactory. I stayed in Deluxe Room for 2 days from 12 Feb 2010 to 14 Feb 2010. The size of the room was quite good. Window provided in the room overlooking the soccer stadium was splendid. Service was reasonably quick, but it can be quicker. The hotel staff very-very friendly and helpful. But hotel food is very ordinary. Quality of food needs to improved. The location of Ponmarri is too good. You are just 400 meters from charring cross junction.

    Hotel location is good and the standard of the hotel is not up to the price that is paid for the same. The toilet flush was not working and the resturant person denied to supply food to room at night 9:45 after which complaint was made to front office, they supplied.
