Bon Azur Beachfront Suites & Penthouses by LOV
This place is amazing!!!
We were in Mauritius on business and decided to spend half of the trip in an apartment and half in a 5 star hotel. This place is as good as a 5 Star hotel! It is so good to be able to shop at the Mauritian supermarkets (Super U 15 minutes away by car) and buy the lovely local produce and cook a nice meal on the bbq and relax with Pheonix beer and wine overlooking the beach at sunset! We have now decided that when we travel to Mauritius we will exclusively use LOV properties simply because of the spacious accommodation, high level of luxury and great facilities and expert management. Soobhug was an incredibly brilliant host, smiling non stop and saying 'Yes' to any request we made. He was too helpful and when i needed an extension cable to allow me to work by sitting at the table and plug my printer and PC into a specific socket he brought one for me from his home! He was a wealth of local information and gave great tips for where to go for good takeaway food.
The apartment B1 was huge with sleeping for 8 although it might be too crowded if fully occupied. For 4 of us it was plenty spacious. It was clean and cleaned daily by the lovely Joanita (sorry I might have got the name wrong) and she made a special effort to do a special decoration for my Son's birthday.
This holiday complex is in a great location directly opening out on a picturesque stretch of beach (pretty but not swimmable due to volcanic rocks)
Travel Month: Sep 2024Very nice property everything was great, nice view, but theres an any problem, the coffee table and kitchen counter has an any infestation, we told the cleaner and she said not to eat on the coffee table thats it

Travel Month: Sep 2024We didn’t know exactly what to expect from Bon Azur or the area, but were pleasantly surprised by both. The property is well maintained, with excellent beach views (and access). You do need a car to get around, but there are options within walking distance too (just not many). The staff is excellent…and very happy to help, give advice, and sort out any issues that may come up. Highly recommended!
Travel Month: Jun 2024Nice suite with view of the ocean. Clean and fairly quiet. Some good local restaurants nearby. The suite was fairly well equipped but could have used some tea towels, face cloths & coffee filters. We tried to reach out by WhatsApp and email several times during our stay with the hotel team and got no response so there was no support in booking excursions unfortunately. With no reception at the site, it was difficult to know how to get in touch with them. Would stay there again but would not expect to get help.
Travel Month: Feb 2024Ok suite with nice small pool and easy access to beach area. Not close to town areas but couple of good restaurants within short walk. Handy store very nearby.
Order breakfast the day before and dinner early if staying in. Book any activities in advance

A few minor inconveniences- no significant toiletries such as shampoo, no bottle opener, no universal adaptors in the unit for foreign travelers, no microwave in kitchen.
Travel Month: Sep 2023Mold infested bathrooms, ripped linen, broken plumbing, grime and dirt on couches and floors, broken TV x 4, insufficient towels & tea towels, broken knives etc. Hard as a rock single beds. Broken Airconditioning. Cracked bathtubs in all bathrooms unable to be used. Not the photos I saw advertised, FALSE ADVERTISING.

Travel Month: Feb 2022The apartment is very spacious and clean. The staff is very helpful, specially the Manager Soobhug. we arrived early and was accommodated with an early check in. I would definitely recommend Bon Azur Beachfront Suites & Penthouses.

Travel Month: Feb 2019Absolutely perfect . Apartment was a spacious apartment with 4 huge bedrooms all with ensuites and air-conditioned.
Kitchen fully equipped and apartment has free WiFi . Patio has a grill gas stove for days one wish to BBQ. Apartment is 25 mins from Grand baie where nightlife is and quite expensive by taxi however it's on the main road few steps from the bus stop.
Apartment overlooks a lovely garden and infinity pool on the beachfront. Beach is not a swimming beach but just perfect to sit and take in the tranquillity of the island ... Absolutely lovely
Travel Month: Feb 2019The worst resort I have been to. It was infested with insects and property management is terrible. That are always late and worst part the don’t change bed sheet every day ( They Change it every 4 days).
All advertising were false, lies and deception. This is a 2 star resort. Room service you need to order it 24-48 hrs before they deliver it. They cheat the coustmer by putting NON- refundable reservations so you will be forced to either stay or leve resort without refunds. Expedia were not helpful even though I share all photos and video of insects infection. This resort food is the worst from naer by small local shop and charge up more money than it’s worth . It’s a health hazard resort. Also, the location was in extremely bad location were you can not get any good night sleep at all.

Stayed for 9 nights as a group of friends (pax of 4).We had brilliant ocean and pool views from our lovely veranda.Well equipped kitchen and nearly everything you need on your holidays.Staff were superb,polite and helpful (fully professional).
One thing could be improved by management (more toiletries).
Overall unforgettable exotic holidays in perfect place,highly recommended for couples,small groups of friends and families.
Travel Month: May 2018This was a one nite stop over after our cruise and the minute we stepped in our unit, we wished we had booked to stay longer. We had a 3 bedroom ensuite , facing the beach with a lovely dining room, huge kitchen fully stocked with pots , pans , utensils and glasses. Coffee maker , washing machine, beach towels, you name it, it’s there. We decided to buy seafood from the local fisherman and had dinner in our unit instead of going out . Had a great stay. Staffs were friendly and helped with our Lugguages. Enjoyed the pool and beach the next morning before we left . We will definitely recommend Bon Azur to anyone coming to Mauritius
